SHEEHY: “Well, listen, it's unfortunate, obviously, we never want violence anywhere, especially in our government buildings, but normally our Capitol Police, we let them do the job and they do a great job, but in this case, this guy was making it impossible. Two of them had to be treated for injuries afterwards. And of course, unfortunately, in 2026, we know what most people do when the cops are in trouble, they pull out their cell phones and they film it instead of helping out these officers who were being attacked by this guy. So hopefully this gentleman gets the help he needs without further violence. But we're always going to stand with our law enforcement. In this case, they needed a hand and I decided to help them out.”
