“His keynote will invite attendees to reflect on the role of creative expression in education and contemporary society,” said Giacummo.
The itinerary for the event is:
Day One: Practice focuses on classroom innovation and collaboration, showcasing how arts integration transforms student learning and supports teachers and families. Attendees will experience workshops, partnership case studies, panel discussions, and student performances demonstrating the impact of arts-centered education.
Day Two: Policy connects classroom success to broader systems, examining funding, advocacy, and long-term sustainability. Sessions will bring together policymakers, funders, cultural leaders, and educators to explore how arts partnerships contribute to economic vitality, community resilience, and equitable access to education.
“Across both days, participants will engage with regional and national leaders, discover innovative models, and join a growing movement committed to making the arts essential to education and community life,” said Giacummo.
