As the conflict in the Middle East entered day 12, Iran’s former crown prince Reza Pahlavi on Wednesday urged Iranians to stay inside their homes as they are in a “sensitive stage” of the final struggle against the ruling regime. While warning Iranians, Pahlavi said that they should prepare provisions and essentials “as soon as possible." He further added the country is in a decisive phase of political struggle, and citizens should continue a nationwide strike.

Pahlavi even called on the Iranian military to join the citizens in their protest against the “oppressive regime.” While concluding his message, the former crown prince said that Iranians should await his “final call."

“Dear fellow compatriots, we are now in a very sensitive stage of our final struggle. I ask you to prepare your essential needs as soon as possible, and for the sake of your own security, leave the streets and stay in your homes. Continue the strike and do not show up for work. To demonstrate your unity, keep up the nighttime chants with full force,” the former crown prince stated.

“To the military and security forces: This is the last chance to separate yourselves from the repressive forces and join the people. Await my final call,” he concluded.

Reacting to Pahlavi’s video message, some Iranians questioned his contribution to the ongoing political struggle against the ruling Islamic regime in Iran. Some called his message "hollow," as there is no internet in Iran, and even slammed him for sitting outside Iran and not joining the actual political struggle.

“Do you get that people in Iran don't have internet, meaning about 60-70 million or more can't hear your words, or is that hard for you to grasp?” an Iranian X user wrote.

“Have you done anything for the Internet???!!!! For the prisoners??? For financial aid to people who haven't had income since month!???!!! I mean, how can you consider yourself a movement leader???? “ another Iranian commented.

Some people even came in support of the former crown prince.

“Soon, with the rise of the Lion and Sun of Iran, we will all together celebrate and dance in the grand squares of our cities. That day, the place of the villains and mercenaries of the Islamic Republic will be in the prisons they have built over these 47 years,” an Iranian commented.

“Certainly, when the prince says to prepare the basic necessities and stay at home and leave the streets and even offices, and we've reached a sensitive stage, it means they want to clear the streets. Please stay homes,” another X user supported Pahlavi.
