BCCI has officially announced the first phase schedule of the upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2026) on Wednesday. Defending champion Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) will take on Sunrisers Hyderabad in the season opener at the iconic M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Saturday, March 28. This will be one of the only five games which will be played at this venue. Five-time champions Mumbai Indians will open their campaign with the clash against Kolkata Knight Riders at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on March 29. MS Dhoni's ChennaiSuper Kingswill be going against the Rajasthan Royals in Guwahati.
