Actress and podcast host Candace Cameron Bure has shared a startling personal anecdote about a moment early in her marriage when she and her husband unintentionally found themselves at an underground S&M-themed Hollywood adult party. She described this sex party as 'dark and demonic.'

​On a recent episode ofThe Candace Cameron Bure Podcast, the 49-year-old Full House and Fuller House star recounted how she and husband Valeri Bure once accepted an invitation from a friend, only to discover the event was far beyond their comfort zone.

'I have some really weird embarrassing moments,' Bure said on the podcast, explaining that at the time she assumed that the invitation was for a normal social gathering. 'It ended up being this underground party that was an S&M sex thing that was so dark and demonic,' perThe National Desk.

She described walking into the room and being immediately shocked by what they saw. 'We walked in, and my eyeballs were popping out of my head because I saw stuff I've never seen before in my life,' she told host Madison Prewett on the show. 'I'm looking at Val, going like, 'How are we here? What is happening?'

Bure said she and her husband immediately turned around and left, recalling they didn't know what they were walking into. 'We made a hard U-turn and walked right out of there. It just was so slimy and weird. We just had no idea what we were walking into, and it was so disgusting and gross,' the actress shared.

She added that they now think twice before accepting any invites from that particular acquaintance again.

Bure has been open about how her Christian faith and moral values have shaped her career and personal choices, including turning down roles that she felt conflicted with her beliefs. She has said that her Christian beliefs influence the types of projects she accepts.
