Pop superstar Rihanna has fled Los Angeles on a private jet following a terrifying shooting attempt at her Beverly Hills mansion that saw an armed stalker fire a barrage of bullets while her young children were inside.

The 'Diamonds' singer was spotted boarding a flight at Van Nuys Airport on Monday, less than 24 hours after 35-year-old Ivanna Lisette Ortiz allegedly opened fire on the property with a rifle.

Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan Hochman confirmed that Rihanna, her partner A$AP Rocky, their three children—RZA, Riot, and infant daughter Rocki—and Rihanna's mother were all at the estate during the Sunday afternoon ambush.

While the couple was reportedly in a trailer on the grounds, at least one round pierced a wall of the main residence where the children were located. Ortiz, a licensed speech pathologist from Florida, now faces 14 felony charges, includingattemptedmurderand 10 counts of assault with a semiautomatic firearm.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, officers responded to reports of gunfire at the singer's residence at around 1:15 pm local time (9:15 pm GMT) on 8 March. Investigators say asuspect fired several shotsat the property using what authorities described as an AR-15-style rifle.

Police said between five and seven rounds were discharged toward the gate of the home from across the street. Dispatch audio referenced as many as 10 shots during the incident.

At the time of the shooting,Rihanna, whose full name is Robyn Rihanna Fenty, was inside the housewith other individuals. Despite the alarming circumstances, authorities confirmed that no injuries were reported.

The suspect, identified asIvanna Lisette Ortiz, was later taken into custody without incident and booked on suspicion of attempted murder. She is reportedly being held on multi-million-dollar bail while awaiting further court proceedings.

In the hours following the arrest, the singer was reportedly heading to an airport in the Los Angeles area before boarding a small private jet. Images circulating online showed luggage being loaded into several vehicles outside the property before the convoy departed for the airport.

It remains unclear whether Rihanna had pre-existing travel plans or whether her departure was connected to the shooting incident. However, reports suggest the decision to leave the city came shortly after the suspect was formally charged in connection with the attack.
