Public Relations of the Revolutionary Guard:

"The Express Room vessel, owned by the Zionist regime and flying the Liberian flag, was struck by Iranian projectiles this morning after ignoring warnings from the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy and was brought to a halt in place.

"The container ship Mayuree Naree was also, a few hours ago, fired upon by Iranian forces after ignoring warnings and threats from the IRGC Navy and illegally insisting on passing through the Strait of Hormuz.

"The Strait of Hormuz is undoubtedly and without a moment's lapse under the intelligent management of the brave naval forces of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. Aggressor Americans and their partners have no right of passage"

"If Iran has put out any mines in the Hormuz Strait, and we have no reports of them doing so, we want them removed, IMMEDIATELY! If for any reason mines were placed, and they are not removed forthwith, the Military consequences to Iran will be at a level never seen before.

"If, on the other hand, they remove what may have been placed, it will be a giant step in the right direction! Additionally, we are using the same Technology and Missile capabilities deployed against Drug Traffickers to permanently eliminate any boat or ship attempting to mine the Hormuz Strait. They will be dealt with quickly and violently. BEWARE!"

According to CNN, the mining is not extensive yet, with a few dozen having been laid in recent days.
