Jake Paulplans to return to the ring later this year or early next year. The YouTuber-turned-boxer suffered a double broken jaw in December 2025 during his heavyweight boxing match against Anthony Joshua.

He was knocked down a total of four times by “AJ” and lost in Round 6 by TKO.

Right after theloss, Paul had to go under the knife. To get his broken jaw back in place, the 29-year-old had two titanium plates fitted and some teeth removed.Most recently, “The Problem Child”had another jaw surgeryand is not even clear to even spar at the moment. However, he expects to fight late this year or early next year.After theRonda Rouseyvs. Gina Carano presser, Paul told the media:

“Later this year, [I expect to return]. I got my second surgery recently. So the doctors said like 4, 5, or 6 months to even be able to spar to see how the bone is healing.”

Ngannou was previously not game to box Paul, regardless of how lucrative the offer was. But now, “The Predator” has changed his mind. During the Rousey vs. Carano presser, he said:
