There’s nothing the ‘entertainment elite’ love more than to use their notoriety to lecture the rest of us about the way things OUGHT to be.
It’s one thing for the working stiffs to blow off these professional reciters of other peoples’ words, to blow off opening weekend at their box office, or change the channel to something other than their awards shows. But it’s easy for them to shrug that off because, hey, what do ‘the poors’ really know about life compared to actors in multi-million dollar homes who get invited to parties with all of the world’s important and powerful people?
Enter Gene Simmons. Unlike so many others of the chattering class, Gene Simmons is a self-made member of the entertainment elite. Practically royalty. He and his band have status within the Hollywood types that towers above most people who sniff their nose at ‘the rest of us’.
And he’s got something to say to the simpering stuffed shirts who love wagging their fingers at the working class.
Simmons was stopped on the street by a TMZ reporter and asked for his reaction to Ben Stiller criticizing the actions being taken in Iran. His response may not be what they were expecting.
