The University of Michigan student who attacked and made death threats toward a conservative journalist and activist on campus yesterday has now been identified, and it's been revealed that she was released from jail pending charges for only a misdemeanor.  The university is also asking groups to take down video of the violent student's assault as they apparently try to hide the incident from the public.
