Ivanna Ortiz, the Florida woman accused of firing an AR-15-style rifle at the Beverly Hills mansion of pop superstar Rihanna, has been charged with a slew of charges, including attempted murder.
Ortiz — dressed in a light blue jumpsuit with her frizzy blonde hair in two braids — looked frazzled, her eyes darting around the courtroom, as she was brought in Tuesday where she was hit with 14 charges.
The 35-year-old’s bond was set at $1,875,000 — a reduction from her initial amount — and the judge put a protective order in place for both Rihanna and A$AP Rocky. The order states Ortiz must refrain from any contact with the A-listers and must stay away from their homes and related property.
It was also revealed in court that Ortiz struck another neighbor’s home with gunfire.
After the hearing, Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan Hochman revealed Ortiz could face life behind bars.
Ortiz’s charges include attempted murder with special allegations, 10 counts of assault with a semiautomatic firearm (with special allegations) and three counts of shooting into an inhabited dwelling/vehicle.
It’s the first time the 35-year-old has been seen since her arrest. Ortiz’s social media accounts are filled with bizarre online rants, and a history of targeting other celebrities.
Ortiz was arrestedSundayon suspicion of attempted murder after allegedly firing approximately 10 shots at the singer’s luxury Los Angeles home, authorities said.
Ortiz was booked into custody and hit with a staggering $10.2 million bail.
The brazen daytime shooting unfolded around 1:30 p.m. outside the sprawling property that Rihanna shares with rapper A$AP Rocky and their three young children.
