Christ Came to Set Us Free — So Why Are Women Still in Bondage?
If Jesus Christ came to redeem humanity from the curse of the fall, why are so many churches still teaching women to live under the very domination that followed Adam and Eve's transgression?
In this powerful biblical study, we return to Genesis to uncover what God originally intended for men and women. Before the fall, both were created in God's image, both received dominion, and both shared in His divine purpose. It was only after sin entered the world that the declaration came: "He shall rule over thee."
But was that God's original design—or a consequence of the fall that Christ came to overcome?
Through the Hebrew and Greek Scriptures, we examine Genesis 3:15, the promised seed of the woman, Romans 5:17, where Paul declares that the redeemed shall reign in life through Jesus Christ, and Romans 8:19–23, where all creation groans for the revealing of God's children.
We also examine Galatians 3:28, Ephesians 5:21, and Jesus' own teachings about freedom, restoration, and the original creation.
Did Christ redeem humanity only to leave women under the bondage of the fall? Or have centuries of religious traditions obscured the freedom, equality, and shared inheritance that Jesus restored?
This is not simply a discussion about submission. It is about redemption, the restoration of God's original purpose, and what it truly means to be one in Christ.
