A couple believed a plate of burnt ribs was worth calling the cops over. During their visit to a Ruby Tuesday restaurant, the husband and wife seemingly played every trick in the book to wriggle their way out of a $30 bill, including a 911 call. “Don’t they arrest people for making false 911 calls? I think this should be classified as that,” one commented online. The bizarre encounter was captured on camera by a bystander who suspected the couple’s behavior had something to do with the race of the Black manager they were dealing with. In the video, the bystander explained that the couple was calling the police because they apparently didn’t want to pay for their plate of ribs. She then approached the couple’s booth with her phone pointed directly at them.
