Former Brazilian presidential candidate Flavio Bolsonaro is now in the U.S. He arrived in Florida yesterday after leaving his home country. He has declared himself the legitimate winner of Brazil’s election. In a letter posted on X, he laid out his allegations against President Lula Da Silva, calling the outcome a mathematical impossibility and saying Lula Da Silva gained more than 10 million votes from the first round to the second.
Hackers say they published an internal database with personal information identifying more than 41,000 employees at the Department of Homeland Security — including undercover immigration officers. A Homeland Security spokesperson said the department was aware of the security breach.
In baseball, the Milwaukee Brewers captured their first World Series title on Wednesday by defeating the Tampa Bay Rays 4-1 wrapping up the Fall Classic in five games and ending a 57-year championship drought.
"I know the city has waited a long, long time for this, and we're so happy to bring it back to them," said veteran outfielder Christian Yelich, who joined the franchise in 2018. "I can't wait to get back there and celebrate."
