Former NFL wide receiver Dez Bryant was detained at gunpoint following a road rage incident in Southlake, Texas, on Sunday. Bryant was in a confrontation in a parking lot that ended with police pointing a gun at him after detaining him in handcuffs. His daughter and his girlfriend had to watch as he and others were handcuffed on the ground. The former receiver alleges the incident began when he saw two vehicles driving recklessly and told them to drive safer while at a stoplight. Consequently, things escalated when Bryant and the two other drivers stopped in the same restaurant parking lot. One of the men threatened to shoot Bryant, according to him. Dez claimed the man who threatened to shoot him then pulled out his phone to record the interaction. That is when he knocked the phone out of his hand.
