October 26, 2026 Queens, NY – It was reported to police that on Monday, October 26, 2026, at approximately 2033 hours, police responded to an assault inside 69-43 Park Drive East, within the confines of the 107 Precinct. Upon arrival, officers discovered a 24-year-old female, unconscious with trauma to her head and a laceration to her wrist. EMS responded and transported the victim to New York-Presbyterian Queens Hospital in critical condition, where she was later pronounced deceased. A person of interest was taken into custody.
