15-year-old ordered to remain in custody for a shooting near a college homecoming football game that injured 11 people, including 6 children, who were not “the intended targets.” Anthony Rivers III was detained by the Tallahassee Police Department for his alleged attack at Florida A&M University. Rivers was allegedly in a physical altercation before the shooting with someone he knew, and “None of the victims appear to have been the intended targets,” according to TPD. Chief Lawrence Revell announced that Rivers faces 11 counts of second-degree murder and 1 count of possession of a firearm by a delinquent. Judge Andrew T. Sheeran ordered Rivers to be held in secure detention and have no contact with the victims while the case is pending during his initial hearing in Leon County juvenile court.
