Hanwha Ocean on Tuesday reported a third-quarter net income of 145.1 billion won ($109.6 million), down 46.1 percent from a year earlier. The shipbuilding arm of Korea's Hanwha Group, said in a regulatory filing that operating income for the July-September period rose 67.6 percent on-year to 485.7 billion won. Revenue increased 12.9 percent to 3.41 trillion won. The earnings fell behind market expectations. The average estimate of net profit by analysts stood at 399.9 billion won, according to a survey by Yonhap Infomax, the financial data firm of Yonhap News Agency.
