October 20, 2026 FLUSHING, QUEENS, NEW YORK — Law enforcement officers went to Hanmaum Daycare, a social adult day care in Flushing, on Tuesday as state and federal agencies carried out searches across New York City in an investigation into suspected Medicaid fraud. Gov. Kathy Hochul's office said the probe involves more than 100 providers statewide, and amNY reported that agents took boxes and computers from the Flushing location. News reports that day did not mention any arrests or charges. The video shows an NYPD officer and agents in tactical vests, one marked "POLICE HHS-OIG," walking along a Flushing sidewalk and gathering outside a storefront with Korean and Chinese signage. A sign reading Hanmaum Daycare in Korean hangs on the glass door, and a woman reads the notices posted there.
