Russian President Vladimir Putin conveyed to US President Donald Trump proposals for resolving the crisis around Iran, and Moscow will see how the coordination process goes, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Tuesday.

On Monday, Putin and Trump held a telephone conversation and discussed the international agenda among other things. President Putin highly values these mediation efforts, we are grateful for this and are interested in this process continuing," Peskov told reporters, when asked whether any specifics had emerged regarding the continuation of trilateral negotiations on a settlement in Ukraine following Putin-Trump phone call.There are no specific dates or locations for a new round of trilateral talks, the spokesman added.Washington did not set conditions for Moscow to cease fire before continuing negotiations, Peskov also said."All the modalities associated with the ceasefire are already well understood," Peskov said, adding that it is hard to argue that everyone is interested in an early ceasefire in Ukraine.
