Mumbai Temperature Today: While parts of Maharashtra have been placed on a yellow alert for heat wave, Mumbai escaped by remaining relatively cooler. The city still reels under extreme heat at 37°C. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the temperature in Mumbai is expected to hover around 35°C throughout the week.
With a low of 24°C and no humidity, the air is currently hot and dry, offering no relief even after sunset. Authorities have flagged the day as dangerous, urging residents to avoid outdoor exposure during peak afternoon hours. From March 11 onwards, temperatures will settle between 34°C and 36°C through the rest of the week, under mainly clear skies with zero recorded humidity. The dry, sunny conditions are likely to continue without any rain or cloud cover in sight.

March 13 and 14 see a slight uptick, with mercury nudging back towards 35°C and 36°C respectively, suggesting the brief cool-down after the heat wave is short-lived. By the weekend on March 15, temperatures ease marginally to 35°C, but the clear, dry pattern holds firm.
