Following my interview with Tiffany Zhao, the courageous young woman who challenged Ben Shapiro at the University of Texas at Austin, I noticed something deeply disturbing while reviewing footage of their debate. As Tiffany stood before Ben Shapiro attempting to make her case, individuals appeared to be deliberately repositioned behind her. What followed looked like an effort to distract, heckle, and disrupt her while she was speaking. Was this a coordinated attempt to silence a young woman who dared to challenge Ben Shapiro? And were individuals associated with Turning Point USA involved? These are serious questions that deserve answers. Regardless of political differences, no student should face intimidation or deliberate interference simply for exercising the right to question a prominent public figure. Tiffany Zhao refused to back down. Her courage and determination to stand for what she believes deserves recognition. Watch the footage, examine what happened behind her, and decide for yourself.
