On stage, the president also signed the pardons for two men, who were convicted of removing emissions control equipment from at least 37 vehicles. The men say the diesel engine modifications were needed to keep the vehicles running in Alaska's extreme winters. The president also announced that Taiwan would invest $4.4 billion to help construct a new natural gas pipeline in Alaska. U.S. Ambassador to Greece Kimberly Guilfoyle has resigned, after the Trump administration asked her to step down amid allegations of misconduct. White House Press Secretary Katie Zacharia confirmed on Tuesday that the administration had asked Guilfoyle to leave her post, after President Trump indicated he was unhappy with recent reports about her. Guilfoyle denies the allegations, and says she intends to defend her reputation. The U.S. Navy is marking 251 years of service, with acting Navy Secretary Hung Cao joining the chief of naval operations and other sailors at the Pentagon’s Hall of Heroes on Tuesday to mark the anniversary and recognize those who have served. The Navy was established on October 13th, 1775, when the Continental Congress authorized two armed vessels to challenge British naval forces. It has since become a central part of U.S. military power, operating across the world’s oceans. -- 🍀 Support NTD 👉 https://donate.ntd.com/ -- 📺 Watch NTD News 24/7 on cable, broadcast, and streaming: https://www.ntd.com/watch 🧶Exclusive Documentaries & Movies on NTD+: https://www.ntdplus.com/utm_source=YouTube&utm_medium=SocialM -- 🔵Sign up for our newsletter to stay informed with NTD News. 👉https://www.ntd.com/newsletter.htm?utm_source=YouTube.
