You have 55 people retiring. 34 Republicans. Many of those seats are seats that Democrats lost by 1 or 2 points in the last cycle. Democrats shouldn’t feel overconfident of the 2025 results and the last few weeks results. If you don’t have answers, either party, if you think it’s all partisanship, you’re not going to win. What I do agree with greg on, Donald Trump is transformational in politics. He’s in line with the Republicans but he has Democrat views and Republican views and some views that defy both parties. You’re going to win if you take seriously their concerns.”
