The ATF has told licensed dealers it will no longer require federal approval or registration for suppressors, short-barreled rifles, short-barreled shotguns and 'any other weapons,' extending a Texas court ruling to every gun owner after the Justice Department declined to appeal. Gun rights groups are already moving to tear down the state-level laws that remain.
