October 11, 2026 Queens, NY – At approximately 1:51 am a pedestrian was struck in the roadway at Jamaica Avenue and 184th Street, according to police. A 54-year-old man was struck by a gray Ford Crown Victoria traveling eastbound, operated by an unidentified male which fled the scene. The victim was transported by EMS to Jamaica Hospital with head and body trauma and is listed in critical condition, according to police. NYPD Highway Units on scene investigating.
