Meanwhile in Germany…In the German city of Esslingen, a new statue of the devil has been unveiled right in the middle of the city by its artist Tim Bengel. The statue is supposed to pay tribute to an old local legend about a brave market woman who tricked the devil and made him leave Esslingen forever. But why put up a statue of the devil instead of the brave woman who defeated him?
