Hillsborough County, FL - A call about a man threatening a McDonald’s employee led deputies to a backpack containing a rifle, a 30-round magazine and marijuana, authorities said. According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the McDonald’s on Big Bend Road on Sunday at about 4:28 p.m. after receiving a call about a man threatening an employee. Deputy body camera video shows the suspect, Logan Vonnahme, leaving the McDonald’s with a backpack before walking past law enforcement. The video then shows deputies approaching a black sedan and ordering it to remain in place. Vonnahme is then seen getting out of the car. “Somebody said you had a handgun in here,” a deputy said. “I don’t have any handgun,” Vonnahme said. “No, nothing. You can search everything ... I don’t got it.” Deputies searched the car and retrieved a pink backpack. The video shows deputies pulling a rifle, a 30-round magazine and marijuana from the bag. Vonnahme was charged with armed possession of a controlled substance and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
