A total of 19 medical and health emergency teams, including the National Emergency Response Teams for Acute Infectious Diseases from Jilin and Liaoning provinces, took part in the drill, along with more than 300 emergency responders and more than 40 emergency vehicles. The drill field-tested the joint response mechanism for cross-border infectious disease epidemics and comprehensively tested the linkage mechanisms for notification of epidemic information, joint risk assessment, and coordinated response.
