Mexican cartel drones breached US airspace: US administration official

Mexicandrug cartel drones entered US airspace but were countered by the American military, a US administration official said on Wednesday after the surprise closure and subsequent reopening of flights at El Paso airport.

“Mexican cartel drones breached US airspace,” the official said on condition of anonymity, adding that US forces “took action to disable the drones.”
