October 1, 2026 Bronx, NY – On Thursday, October 1, 2026, at approximately 1445 hours, police received a 911 call of a welfare check inside of 2216 Adams Place, within the confines of the 48 Precinct. Upon arrival, officers observed an unconscious and unresponsive 37-year-old male with multiple stab wounds to the torso, left arm, left hand, and back. EMS responded to the location and pronounced the male deceased on the scene. There are no arrests at this time, and the investigation remains ongoing.
