A reporter and her cameraman were involved in a shocking hit-and-run incident live on air in Mexico while reporting for television, an event that was recorded and went viral on social media. The victims are journalist Alma de la Rosa Flores and cameraman Cristo Martínez, both from Gamavisión , who were in Monterrey, around 8:00 a.m. (local time) this Friday, October 2, during the program “La Grillotina”, hosted by journalist Mario Gámez, according to local media. It turns out that the reporter was covering a landslide that occurred on an avenue in the capital of the state of Nuevo León, caused by the heavy rains of the previous day, when a large car lost control, and they were run over. The recording of the impact spread rapidly on digital platforms, where it generated a wave of messages of concern from other journalists and users who witnessed the scene through the broadcast. In this regard, Reporteindigo reported that paramedics arrived at the scene and assisted the injured people. The cameraman was immobilized on a stretcher, while the reporter was able to get into the ambulance on her own two feet , although with the help of the paramedics, with only some bumps "that do not put her life at risk". Meanwhile, the driver responsible for the accident was arrested by the police.
