The mid-sized sedan has been a shrinking segment in the country, with only a few popular models leading the charge over the last few years. However, driving enthusiasts still prefer a sedan shape and the quintessential 'car' is not going out of style any time soon. With that in mind, Hyundai India has just launched the mid-life facelift version of its Verna sedan and it gets both design and equipment upgrades to attract more sedan buyers into the fold. Here are all the details about the 2026 Verna facelift.

The new Hyundai Verna has received a big update in the headlamp department, with reflector-based units now replaced with Dual LED projector headlamps. The front and rear bumpers have also been redesigned with lower skirt panels and it also gets a new design for the 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels. Inside, the 2026 Verna now gets the new-generation D-cut steering wheel that we have earlier seen in the new-generation Venue.

Other elements inside the cabin include a rear window sunshade, an 8-speaker Bose audio system and a switchable control panel to toggle between air-conditioning and infotainment functions. Driver information and infotainment are taken care of by the dual 10.25-inch screens and the sedan also gets Level 2 ADAS safety functions along with a dual-dashcam setup from the factory. It gets 35 safety features as standard across all variants, including 6 airbags. The Verna also offers an 8-way electronically adjustable driver's seat and a smart trunk function. For 2026, Hyundai has also introduced two new colour options for the Verna, called Classy Blue and Titan Grey Matte.
