3/9In response, TVK party leader Ranjana Nachiyaar strongly criticised Vijay’s comment and raised several questions regarding his remarks. In a statement she released, Nachiyar said that during the Women’s Day celebration, Vijay indirectly referred to the dispute with his wife without mentioning it openly. She quoted his words: “You said, ‘Don’t worry about that. I’ll handle it. It’s not even worth it.’ That one sentence is raising many questions today. What is not worth it, leader? Your wife? Or your married life?”
