The State Department said it continued to warn Americans to “reconsider travel" to Saudi Arabia, though without cautioning against all trips to the kingdom, which has assiduously courted US businesses and politicians.
Last week, the US embassy in the Saudi capital Riyadh was hit by drones launched by the Iranian military, causing severe damage.
On Sunday, Saudi Arabia said two people were killed and 12 were wounded when a projectile landed in Al Kharj province. The two people killed were of Bangladeshi nationality.
Iran’s Revolutionary Guards said earlier on Sunday that they targeted radar systems in locations including Saudi Arabia’s Al-Kharj.
