A professor predicted thatDonald Trumpwould go to war withIranas US President. However, the academic, dubbed China's "Nostradamus", has made a future prediction which is even scarier.

Professor Xueqin Jiang, fromBeijing, correctly predicted that Trump would win the 2024electionbefore going to war with Iran. In 2024, he posted a lesson online called "The Iran Trap". He wrote in the description of the lessson: "If Trump were to win a second term, he would likely contemplate invading Iran. While an initial invasion would seem successful, American forces would quickly become bogged down in Iran's mountainous terrain."

As reported by theDaily Mail, the US andIsraellaunched a joint attack on Iran on February 28. They have since killed Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and around 1,300 Iranian civilians in strikes across the country.

The conflict has escalated across the Middle East, with around 12 countries subject to missile and drone strikes. Tensions are continuing to heighten across the region with Iran vowing not to back down.

During his prediction in 2024, Professor Jiang said Trump would justify the war as a means of bringing democracy to the nation. He added that the US President would emphasise the need to wipe out Iran's nuclear facilities.

Trump denounced the Iranian regime following the attack on February 28. He also said: "It has always been the policy of the United States, in particular my administration, that this terrorist regime can never have a nuclear weapon. I'll say it again, they can never have a nuclear weapon."

In a separate prediction, the professor also predicted that Trump would launch a "full-scale" invasion of Iran in March 2027. He added that Israel and Saudi Arabia would help the US, as well as the UK, Australia, the UAE and Poland.

However, his third prediction is the most chilling. The professor concluded that the US would lose the war, explaining that Iran had "many more advantages".
