Corey Heim was jumped and punched by Treyten Lapcevich’s racing team, as seen in footage shared on social media, moments after he took second place during a race at Martinsville Speedway in Virginia. In the moments before Caden Kvapil won the 2026 ValleyStar Credit Union 300 in Ridgeway on Saturday, Sept. 26, Heim, 24, and Lapcevich, 22, appeared to have a tense battle for second place, during which Heim’s vehicle appeared to make contact with the rear of Lapcevich’s vehicle, allowing Kvapil to pass him for the win.
