A coal-carrying bulk carrier, the MV Cape Dao, was struck by Iranian missiles off the coast of Oman, killing one crew member and forcing the remaining 27 sailors to abandon ship before they were rescued by the Royal Oman Navy, a family member of the vessel’s chief engineer said on Thursday.
