"EVANSTON, Ill. (WLS) -- An Evanston man was injured when federal immigration agents detained him after mistakenly believing he was someone they were looking for, according to Evanston police and a witness who recorded part of the confrontation. The man was released after agents determined he was a U.S. citizen.
Miguel Olivares said he was taking a break while helping out at El Pueblito Mexican Grill on Howard Street when he noticed vehicles parked outside and a confrontation unfolding."
