Seattle, WA - Seattle Police officers investigating a domestic violence incident in the 900 block of Golf Drive South were involved in an officer-involved shooting Friday afternoon. Police responded to an apartment building in the Beacon Hill neighborhood when a man called 911 around 8 AM to report a domestic violence assault. When police arrived at the scene, they spoke with a male who had sustained a laceration during the assault. The victim was evaluated by Seattle Fire and taken to the hospital via AMR for treatment. Patrol officers went to contact the suspect in an apartment; however, the suspect barricaded herself inside. Officers obtained a warrant from a judge to make entry into the apartment. At some point, one officer fired their weapon, striking and injuring the suspect. That same officer was injured by the suspect before they were taken into custody.
