An extremely disturbing incident involving two young Muslims and other agitators occurred during an anti-Islam protest in New York City on Saturday, which could have resulted in possible casualties.

As The New York Postreported, six people were arrested after two homemade explosive devices were thrown outside Gracie Mansion on Saturday during competing anti- and pro-Muslim protests. The Gracie Mansion, of course, is where New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani resides.

The devices thrown sent several people running for cover. Fortunately, no one was injured.

The anti-Islam rally was organized by former J6 political prisoner Jake Lang, who waspardonedby President Trump last year.

At approximately 12:30 P.M., two pro-Islam hurled a suspicious device, widely reported to be a bomb. It appeared to have a lit fuse and was wrapped in duct tape.

There are conflicting reports about whether the item was asmokebomb or anailbomb, which failed to detonate.

Independent journalistOliya Scootercasterreported thatfilledwith nuts, bolts, and screws and had a fuse inside.

In addition, a Molotov cocktail was also used as a weapon to target the anti-Muslim protesters. Video also captured at the scene shows the second suspect passing the suspected bomb to another person.

The NYPD arrested the second suspect outside Gracie Mansion. He can be heard screaming, “Allahu Akbar!” and “It’s dishonor to the city!” while getting apprehended.

NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tisch lateridentifiedthe two individuals as 18-year-old Amir Balat and 19-year-old Ibrahim Nick.
