Electricians are indeed in demand, but the numbers in the clip are overstated. BLS projects roughly 72,700 electrician openings annually through 2035, with 2025 median pay of $63,190. The highest-paid 10% earned more than $108,510. Nursing presents an even larger pipeline challenge. BLS projects about 180,800 RN openings annually through 2035 and reports median pay of $97,550. Demand comes from employment growth plus workers retiring or leaving the profession.
Robbins' nursing-school statistic is close but needs context. AACN says 93,176 qualified nursing-program applications were turned away in 2025, largely because of constraints involving faculty, clinical placements, preceptors, classroom capacity and budgets.
