President Trump participated in an event with the Prime Ministers of Denmark and Greenland, signing a historic deal that gives the United States "permanent control over security" in Greenland, Trump said.  As The Gateway Pundit reported, Trump announced the deal after over a year of expressing a desire to purchase the Arctic island for defense purposes since he returned to office in January 2025.
