“The end is near!” I don’t consider myself much of a doomsday prophet. I don’t envision myself standing in Times Square with a threatening placard to scare people into a decision for Christ. But it does seem that things which were once more certain in my mind have now become very uncertain... I am starting to wonder if some kind of end times prophecy is not in play here, like when the Bible describes how, “the mystery of lawlessness is already at work…” but only until the Restrainer has been taken out of the way (2 Thessalonians 2:7 ESV). Is this starting to happen?
