SWALWELL: “Well, stop the public executions for one, take off the masks, put on identification, stop knocking down doors without warrants. Stop approaching people based on the accents they speak, the places they work, and the color of their skin, which is something they have admitted to doing in court. Those are just basic humans. And if you focused on the most violent in our community and by the way, 95% of the people who have been detained and deported are nonviolent offenders. If you do that, you will find support. Until they do that, they will not. And every American right now is safer this evening”
