A vast digital archive of declassified UFO documents was mysteriously wiped just one day after President Donald Trump ordered federal agencies to begin releasing government files related to extraterrestrial activity.
The Black Vault, one of the most well-knownonline repositoriesof declassified government records, saw hundreds of gigabytes of data suddenly disappear from its main server.
The vanished files reportedly included material related to alleged top-secret CIA projects, historical intelligence directives, and even documents tied to the JFK assassination.

The wipeout occurred shortly after President Trump directed federal agencies, including the Department of War (DOW), to “begin the process of identifying and releasing” all government documents related to extraterrestrial life.
The timing has fueled questions among researchers and UFO investigators.
The Black Vault’s founder, longtime ufologist John Greenewald Jr.,revealedthe incident publicly, explaining that file permissions and ownership logs had been altered without warning before the files were deleted.
Greenewald said he “discovered that 100% of my main document server… was just gone. No files. Nothing.
“This was HUNDREDS of gigs of data in thousands of directories, and it just vanished. In addition, numerous server-side directories had permissions changed, and file ownership changed.
“It is unclear why, and I’ve never seen this in the history running web servers for The Black Vault.”
