Katie Piper has exposed the hideous comments she got from women commenting on her appearance at the National Television Awards. The Loose Women star, 42, was blinded in one eye and suffered facial burns after ex-boyfriend Daniel Lynch and accomplice Stefan Sylvestre attacked her with acid in 2008. Since then she has inspired countless people to never give up, has become hugely successful in her own right, carved out an enormously successful television career and on Tuesday night joined her Loose Women colleagues at the star-studded bash where they were nominated for Best Daytime. Piper looked sensational in a glitzy black dress and, quite rightly, she felt ‘really nice’ on the night, she revealed in a crushing Instagram video today. Sharing her horror after dropping her children off to school, Piper sat in the car and revealed the vile messages she received following a night which should have been nothing but a celebration. Partway through the video, she told fans ‘I know I’m not the prettiest’ and was instantly bombarded with supportive messages from hundreds of followers telling her otherwise.
