Out of 162,000 jobs added in August, 2026, approximately 158,000 went to women and just 4,000 to men. Now imagine those numbers were reversed. Imagine men received 97.5% of all new jobs while women received just 2.5%. Would we be celebrating men's success? Or would we be hearing about gender discrimination, institutional barriers, discriminatory hiring practices and systemic sexism? That's the question I'm asking in this video. And this isn't simply about one month's numbers. I went back through historical employment data, looked at the representation of women in today's workforce, examined heavily female-dominated industries, and asked a very simple question: Are we applying the same standard to discrimination when the people potentially being discriminated against are men? Because equality can't mean one thing when women are behind and something entirely different when men are behind. The numbers deserve scrutiny. And men deserve an answer.
