Alberto Montes scored another submission victory atUFC 326, putting Ricky Turcios to sleep with his signature anaconda choke.
After a fairly competitive opening round, things took a turn early in the second after Turcios shot in for a takedown. Successfully sprawling, Montes cinched his arm under Turcios’ chin and sealed up ananaconda chokeseemingly out of nowhere.
Seconds later, Turcios was out, and the fight was called off less than a minute into the stanza.

With the victory, Montes notched his first win under the UFC banner and improved his overall mixed martial arts record to 11-1.
