September 08, 2026 MANHATTAN, New York - NYPD officers from Transit district 4 responded to report of alleged thief who a witness reported seeing going into a wallet. The detained individual was located with a wallet that did not belong to him and in the process of trying to identify the man, officers were not able to obtain his information. The man was transported to a nearby station house for further investigation.
